First word!

Maxwell said his first "real" word this weekend as well and naturally, he said "dog." We were sitting around after T-day, just before Maxwell goes to bed, and he said a distinct dog. We were shocked, and skeptical, but Mindi repeated it to him, and he said it again. "Dog!" He ended up saying it seven times, it was really funny, cute, amazing and cool.

He said it two more times the following morning, so we don't think it was a fluke, but he seems to have clammed up the past couple days. Still, a very exciting moment. Here's to many more "dogs" and, um, "dad" has to be right around the corner, no?

Winter is here in north Jersey, and Maxwell got out to witness his first big snowfall (an inch or so, melted already). And in a completely unrelated note, his first two teeth came in this week!
