Dad and dog.

We're all getting along quite nicely, thank you. Just make sure you pay attention to the dog.

Tummy time!

This is what passes as a gym workout in babymyser world. Work it, work it!

Max can do roughly the same number of pushups as his dad. Strength runs in the family - poor kid.

Brooklyn in the house.

Seth and Alison rolled out from Brooklyn as Max's first New York visitors. Max was scared of Seth. And vice versa.

The grandparents visit!

Grandma Terri, Grandpa (the) Rick and Grandma Debbie all made it out to visit Maxwell this week.

C-bus represents.

Jen and Brian from Ohio stop by on a tour of NYC to say hello to Max in the hospital.

The bilirubin incident.

As Dave Barry would write, "It would be a good name for a rock band." Unfortunately, it causes a bit of a complication in newborns - jaundice, brain damage, if allowed to get bad- so Maxwell got to spend another 24 hours in the hospital. Not fun.

Basically, they put him under UV lights and cranked up the temp to 88 degrees. This helps break down the bilirubin and excrete it out.

Ended up being not a huge deal, just scary. Happens to a lot of babies and everything is just fine. Plus, Max gets these futuristic blue room pics.

My family.

Hanging out with the parental units for the very first time.

I made it out!

This is immediately after I got here. Who are you guys? Something seems familiar about her, but who's that other dude, lurking?

Weighing in...

Maxwell!

Myyyyyyyssssseeeeerrrr!!!!

Visitors.

Mike and Jeanne Buck made it out to Morristown Memorial Hospital for a visit with the new guy.

The car seat.

What is this nefarious contraption?

Riding home.

On second thought, this isn't half bad.

More friends!

Mindi and Mike's friend Katy Rooks swung by to meet Max and bring some food that first night home.

Still upset.

Those darn Florida Gators. I'm still mad about those losses.

All better.

Ahhhh. Relaxing with mom.
