August breakthroughs.

Maxwell has had a couple of big-boy-breakthroughs recently. Though his parents were slow to start taking it away, we finally got him off the bottle completely. He now enjoys his "mil," "jooz" and "aga" (that's his first Spanish word, daddy's so proud) out of sippy cups only.

Also, while he's been eating with his hands by himself for awhile, I think he's finally getting the spoon thing down. Check out the following video for proof.

And is this kid a ham or what? It's like he knew exactly what I wanted him to do. Anyone know a good movie agent?

Kacie and family were out in New York (from San Francisco) for a visit, so Maxwell met them in Central Park for playtime and a picnic.

Maxwell is ready for the season in his new (Very) Lil' Animal jersey. Worked well the first week against YSU. We'll see how it holds up in a couple weeks vs. USC.

Wedding day.

Maxwell enjoyed the second wedding of his young life, especially since it was his Uncle Eric and daddy was in the wedding party. He only had to leave for part of the ceremony.




He's gonna kill us when he's 13 for making him wear this, but c'mon... freaking cute.

A new favorite...

Buckeye State Vacation.

Our latest family vacation was sandwiched between a baby shower for Maxwell's Aunt Jill and Uncle CJ, and a big wedding for Uncle Eric and (now official) Aunt Suzette.

We of course stopped by the "Detroit of the Midwest" AKA Dayton, to visit with the Bethels and meet Camden Nguyen for the first time!
